the scream

The Scream (Norwegian: Skrik; created 1893-1910) is the title of expressionist paintings and prints in a series by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch, depicting an agonized figure against a blood red sky. The landscape in the background is Oslofjord, viewed from the hill of Ekeberg, in Oslo (then Kristiania), Norway.
Edvard Munch created several versions of The Scream in various media. The Munch Museum holds one of two painted versions (1910, see gallery) and one pastel. The National Gallery of Norway holds the other painted version (1893, shown to right). A fourth version, in pastel, is owned by Norwegian businessman Petter Olsen. Munch also created a lithograph of the image in 1895.
The Scream has been the target of several high-profile art thefts. In 1994, the version in the National Gallery was stolen. It was recovered several months later. In 2004, The Scream and Madonna were stolen from the Munch Museum. Both paintings were recovered in 2006. They had sustained some damage and went back on display in May 2008, after undergoing restoration.

Have you tried making maccaroni. I did using this recipe I found online.

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (16 ounce) package elbow macaroni
9 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup shredded Muenster cheese
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 1/2 cups half-and-half
8 ounces cubed processed cheese food
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions:

1.Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the oil and the pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain well and return to cooking pot.

2.In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 8 tablespoons butter; stir into the macaroni.

3.In a large bowl, combine the Muenster cheese, mild and sharp Cheddar cheeses, and Monterey Jack cheese; mix well.

4.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

5.Add the half and half, 1 1/2 cups of cheese mixture, cubed processed cheese food, and eggs to macaroni; mix together and season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a lightly greased deep 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese mixture and 1 tablespoon of butter.

6.Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until hot and bubbling around the edges; serve.

http://www.fridgewords.org/
What would you do if you could use a really complex program to study or Fridgewords.org? I will explain my answer in a couple paagraphs and in details which one I would choose.

I would choose Fridgewords.org because it is constantly being edited and new words just pop in. But in TOEFL, SAT, or some other program you have to keep buying the latest edition CD or book just so you can study some word your never going to hear used or on a test. In Fridgewords.org they have TOEFL and SAT words and definitions and since they’re updating the new version words appear in there as well so you don’t have to waste time and money on books that you’ll have to throw away sooner or later, so it preety much saves you a ton of cash.

And in the learning tutorials in the online TOEFL and SAT they only answer questions approved by teachers and parents and not by the people who still don’t understand it. But in Fridgewords.org you can send the owner of the website questions about why the website is here or whatever. Or you can send them suggestions of how they can make the site easy to use.

Also in TOEFL and SAT online websites you have to download stuff and add links just so you can access a certain place and pay for memberships just so you can study the full version, even though it’s really complicated and hard to use. But in Fridgewords.org you can improve vocabulary for free there is no need to download anything, no membership and it’s simple and easy.

Those were the reasons why I choose to use Fridgewords.org over SAT or TOEFL. Because they’re both hard to use and you’ll forget the words you learned sooner than if you used Fridgewords.org to study, I speak the truth because I used both to study and Fridgewords.org was the better one to improve vocabulary.

Today the morning was normal but the rest of the day was horrible to anyone who was in the spelling bee. We had to prepare the entire gym for the spelling bee b ourselves; we had put chairs here and there, also we had to prepare the stage. Etc.

I was kind of mad about this I mean we were supposed to be the contestants not the people who did everything plus the contestants. Well life isn’t fair, but you have to work with it. i improved volcabulary.

The spelling bee went really smoothly, more smooth that any brand new Ferrari. Everyone was eliminated one by one well it went like this: 1 person in the first round, 2 people in second and 3 people in the third. Etc. it went on until I was left, there wasn’t much excitement and it only lasted half an hour.
I forgot to mention last time that the spelling bee was post ponged to next Wednesday so we will have more time to study because only half of the people that were entering were not ready.

That means that I have extra time to improve vocabulary . Well tomorrow is the big day the one and only, well maybe not the only, spelling bee. I studied for the spelling bee like I would have for any other test except that there were more words to study and I had to improve vocabulary on each and every one of them.

Well I better get some sleep tomorrows the big day and I don’t want to sleep in.
