Hi, I'm a kid from Montana and I want to tell you that I used this site I found on the internet to help me learn English words better.
You see a month ago in my school we were going to have a spelling bee and my class was told about this the month before that so we could prepare. Its was a class spelling bee meaning that every one in the classroom must participate we where give a long list of words that might or that will be on the test we were given four weeks to study for the spelling bee. Oh and did I mention that the prize was you could be the teachers assistant and boss anyone around that you want for a week.
And I was sick and tired of rewriting words and having writers cramp just to learn words. For the first two days I looked online for help so I looked online for help because no one else had a better idea. So I found a couple websites for learning English words but I wanted immediate results I kept testing every website I came about until I found Fridgewords.org and it gave me immediate results so I kept using it to study for weeks until the day of the test came.
Almost every body was talking about the prize. Who will boss who? What will you do? Who will you give special treatment? And stuff like that. Before the test started we got the chance to review as many words as we could in five minutes. And after that the spelling bee started, we were supposed to line up our desks in three rows ten desks per row and we did the spelling be alphabetized so we started with the people who started with the letter ‘a’ in their last name and so on about six people were eliminated in the first round, five in the next, seven in the third round, and ten in the fourth. Then it was me and some other kid the last word came and the kid got it… wrong.
But he didn’t lose yet, to be eliminated I had to spell the word right but if I got it wrong he would get a second chance and it will go on like this until one of us gets it right. And I got the word wrong and then we each started to get a turn for a chance to discover the right word. Some kids started cheering for me hoping that if I win they will get special treatment and some for the other kid also for the same reason. It went like this for a long time until I realized that the word wasn’t in the list they gave us. And if I said something like that my classmates might think that I was chickening out and that I wanted an easier word so I could win. So by every turn me and the kid puzzled out the word one letter at a time. And finally FINALY I figured the word out and I got my prize. Starting next week on Monday I was the teacher’s assistant for that entire week.
So that’s my story why I wanted to thank that site. Oh and one last thing the first thing I told every one to do was to check out that site for studying the next time there was a spelling be so I would have a bit more competition.

Hello I’m a boy from Florida and I want to tell you that there is and easy way to learn English words and that you don’t have to ask you teacher for after school tutoring.
You see a couple weeks ago there were the try outs for the school newspaper and I wanted to try out I always have tons of ideas but when I try to spell them correctly they either turn up in words that make no sense lets take the word because, back then I spelled it like this: bcus. See it makes no sense now imagine a whole news paper article spelled this way. Yeah. So I started to look for easy ways to learn English words better on the internet.
So I found this website called Fridgewords.org and it was exactly what I needed I started to use it to study for a week and I learned all of the definitions of simple words like brief and attain and I also learned how to spell a ton of words right because there was this feature were you had to type the word right and lower cased if you want the point to count because the computer cant read it capitalized.
As the weeks went by I started to practice writing stories. Just so I could be ready for the auditions. As the day of the auditions came closer, every one who was going to audition was notified that we weren’t going to pick our subjects for our auditions but they will be randomly picked by a random teacher. So no one knew which teacher it was so no one knew who to bribe so they get a topic with a lot to write about.
The day of the auditions finally came and every one who was auditioning got topics. Some got about factory’s other about education. I got about how enzyme is used in factories. So mine was practically a mixture of both, so I was really annoyed and we were given two days to write an article worth reading about our topic.
Two day later I handed in my article and the people who didn’t were eliminated. We were to wait until the next day to see who got the job. The next day they announced that…. I got the JOB.
So there is an easy way to learn English words.

Ok you see a couple days a go my class was going to have a test on a dozen words we were supposed to study and a week before that we were told of the test and given the words to study.
Ok here’s how it goes my class just finished one of our tests on words when our teacher told us that we will be doing it a bit harder from now on. Meaning instead of remembering words that have one definition, we had to remember words that have up to three definitions. Words like brief, attain, buffet, and so on. But the problem was I wasn’t ready for this many definitions for just a single word. So I started to look online for help because my parents had no better idea, I used the regular studying techniques and they didn’t work. If there are 12 words times 3 because of definitions, I’d have to remember 36 definitions and remember which word they belonged to.
So I was typing stuff on the computer like remember a lot of definitions in a week, learn English words, and so on. But it wasn’t until I typed in ‘learn English words’ that I found a website that could help me. I first found the words I needed and added them to the word basket (a feature) and then I reviewed them, then I did the multiple choice test in the exercise tab. And I did pretty great only half of them I got wrong. I kept doing that exercise over and over again until I was feeling confident enough o try the type in guess the word feature where they tell you all the definitions but you had to type in the word correctly and lower cased. And after all that practice with the multiple choice test I pretty much remembered how to spell all the words. By the day of the test I was pretty much ready to do the test I was shacking from excitement.
After the test I kept asking what I got and the teacher kept telling me that she didn’t grade any of them yet again and again. A week after the test we got our grades and I got everything right. And that’s how I found a easy way to study without writing.

a true story from a kid in california
Hey, I’m a kid from California and there is a certain site that helped me get better grades.
You see one day I was told that there was going to be a spelling test in a month. A spelling test in my class goes like this, we all get in my class a piece of paper and the teacher is going to read out fifteen words and ,if somebody wanted, their definitions. We were to write down the words spelled correctly or else we didn’t get a point. Well, anyway I was horrible at these tests even though they gave us a list of the words there were going to be on the next test, I still couldn’t remember them.
The usual studying techniques didn’t work so I started to look online for help I typed in study words, learn words, and learn English words stuff like. And when I searched learn English words, I found a website called fridgewords.org that was exactly for my purpose and my purpose was to study.
So I used the programs in the website to help me learn English words for a week and I saw immediate results. I kept studying for weeks and the day of the test came, and I wasn’t ready for the test I had to memorize two more words. But on that day we had a substitute teacher and he told us that our teacher would be back in a week. So with the extra time I got I continued to study and by that time I already remembered the words so well I started to say them during class so much that it was starting to get so annoying that people asked me to stop. And finally my teacher came back and the day she came back we had the test and we had straight after math.
I did the test really quick and easily and I muttered the words under my breath so the people around me heard me say the words so they wrote them down since they knew I was right. And right after school our tests were given back since they were graded when we did our school work.
I got everything right and I was happy so that’s how I found an easy way to learn English words.

true story from person in hawwai
Hi, I’m a kid from Hawaii and I want to tell you that there is an easy way to learn English words.
You see two months ago I was minding my own business at my school, you know doing my school work. When we were announced over the P.A. that there was going to be a spelling be in one month and that the winner the will be the principles assistant for a week. Everyone was excited, these spelling bees were only once a year and at different times every year so no one could prepare extra early and they couldn’t because you needed to have the list that had the words that might or will be on the spelling bee and the lists were given out the day the spelling bee was announced.
This year there were a lot of words that had a lot of definitions and the judges will only say the hardest definition so the word was hard to figure out. I tried the usual study technique: rewriting words and their definitions twenty times and staring at books trying to remember them. But with all the definitions it was hard to remember them all. My family had no better idea, so I started to look on the internet for something that might help.
And I found this website that was for my purpose, and my purpose was to learn English words. So I studied using this website and here are the steps I took: first I picked all of my words that I needed. Second I reviewed the words, you know read it just so I know what to try to remember. Third I did an exercise. And guess what I only got a fourth of it wrong so I kept studying for weeks until the day of the spelling bee came and everyone was excited. We were going to have to the spelling bee in the gym since there was a lot of room there. Every one that was going to be in the spelling bee were given a number so that we knew who will start first and who will go after that person and so on.
In the first round half the people were eliminated because they didn’t study or they were accidentally signed up. In the second round about a dozen people were eliminated. And it went on like that for twenty- three rounds, until it was me and some sixth grader. The sixth grader started first and got the word ‘financial’. And he started to spell it. ‘F’, ‘I’, ‘N’, and then another ‘N’. The judges were about to eliminate him when they remembered that I had to spell the word that he spelled wrong, right. So I was asked the word and I spelled it correctly.
Starting the week after that I was the principal’s assistant and it was fun. I got no homework, I got bullies into detention, and for my friends I got them excused from class. So there you go that’s how I found out an easy way to learn English words.

Hey I started using fridgewords.org a couple of months ago and I used it so I can learn English words. Using fridge words is easy and simple all you need to do is add the words you want to learn to the word basket. Then there are three option of how you can practice the words: Exercises, tests, and flash cards.
Flash cards are as the name suggests flash cards, on the computer there isn’t a print link but there is a way to print your words, select all your words in the word basket, then click preview. A screen should pop out with all the words in a list alphabetized, click file then print and customize how many papers you want and you print it.
The Exercise and test links are pretty much the same there is a multiple choice test based on the words you have in the word basket and guess the word is that the computer gives you a random definitions that means the same as one of your words in your word basket. The word has to be lower case and the spelling correct if you want it to count. The difference between the test and the exercise link is that after every question that you answered the answer appears, but in the test link the results aren’t given until you finish everything.
And also for all the links on the side SAT TOEFL 4th to 10th grade there are the same options there except there is a word list option which opens up the list and the other options refer to all of the words in the list. So if you click on grade 5 learn English words and then on exercise and then on type in (guess the word) or on the multiple choice test you’ll have to do all of the words there are there. And that’s all there is to it.
